Under California Senate Bill 1343, employers are now required to provide at least 2 hours of sexual harassment prevention training and education to all supervisory employees and at least 1 hours of training to all non-supervisory employees in California by January 1, 2020.
In accordance with California Government Code Section 53237.1, California Assembly Bill 1661 requires local agency officials to receive sexual harassment prevention training and education within six months of taking office. Like supervisors and mangers, local agency officials must attend this training every two years if any type of compensation, salary, or stipend is provided to required training.
Horizon has always presented courses related to sexual harassment in the workplace that not only complies with state and federal law but exceed the amount of training required. Many of the organizations we provide this training to are exceeding these new legal requirements as a result of the robust course we provide. This course is 100% California compliant.
