ABUSIVE CONDUCT IN THE WORKPLACE

Workplace bullying is a very dangerous and detrimental source of dysfunction, harassment, retaliation, and lack of productivity in the workplace. This behavior over the years has increased with about 60% of employees within the US claiming to have witnessed or worst, became a target of workplace bullying. Bullying disfigures not just the quality of life in the workplace but the quality of life in an employees personal life. Failing to address bullying can have an everlasting affect on an employees health and an organizations cultural reputation.
This interactive session is for all business and organizations to learn and discuss the various types of bullying, myths about workplace bullying, how bullying thrives in the workplace, laws prohibiting bullying in the workplace, techniques in how to address workplace bullying, and methods for reporting and investigating such behavior leading to a more cohesive and safer workplace environment.

Under California Assembly Bill 2053, abusive conduct is required as part of the state mandated harassment training. While we do provide a full course on workplace harassment prevention that meets all state regulations related to the topic, many of our clients have asked that we conducted a supplemental course that focuses solely on concept of abusive conduct and how it occurs in the workplace.
